About the Event

World Goth Day is where the goth scene gets to celebrate its own being, and an opportunity to make its presence known to the rest of the world. This day falls on 22nd May of every year.

The day was originally started by two DJs in the British Goth scene. Whether you are Goth or not you can dress in black, promote gothic music and celebrate the goth culture.

There are events around the world every year to celebrate the Goth culture. You can check out the official world goth day website for events near you.
